Kelcey Ayer of Local Natives. Gorilla Manor is out now on Frenchkiss Records.
flowas.. it kind of feels like spring outside today even though it’s just a few days away from july 4th. i took this about a month ago.
I am not a robot! That’s what Marina & the diamonds say, in their single “I am not a robot”. I really like this one, simply because it’s a catchy, lovable tune with really good lyrics. This song is generally about how instead of channeling emotions, some lovers have to just act tough and bottle themselves up.You been acting awful tough lately. Smoking a lot of cigarettes lately. But inside, your just a little baby.
Here’s Marina & the Diamonds with I am not a Robot.
Alt Indie Wednesday!!!! Time for a kind of old song! (Not too old mind you). Since the school year’s almost over, I found myself recollecting songs I was really into when the year started. This is Say Anything - Alive with the Glory of Love. It’s good noise that you always want to blast into your head.. It’s such a good track!
I do not own this song
WOOHOOO! NEW RELEASE!!! Everyone knows about Tokyo Police Club. They’re the shit on so many different levels. Their new CD was released today! Tonight they’ll be performing in VA tonight with Passion Pit, Then they’ll be in Atlant, Georgia tomorrow. WHO PSYCHED! I’m psyched. Here’s Wait Up! (Boots of Danger) by Tokyo Police Club.
I do not own this song in any way.
A bitter love song about dick-y exes to wake up to this morning. I hope you had a good evening out there! This song came out quite a while ago, but the female artist, Amy Kuney, has more recently had her song in the new Kleenex hand towel commercial. A cute one called Simple Things, I believe. But since that’s gotten enough attention, here’s Love is Trippy.
Hope you have a good day
Ew, mtv. I hate having to use you for your awesome music videos, but alas. This song comes to you from the dusty ol’ shelf of 2008. That was a good year, I guess. Nothing to remarkable happened to me, but I’m sure some one out there one the powerball.
Anyway, this is a really good song that I found myself thinking about today, so here it is. I think the video is kind of rubbish though.
I do not own this video or song in any way.
